Title: Software Engineers / Systems Analysts/ Analysts

Description: We are currently seeking Software Engineers / Systems Analysts/ Analysts to join our IT team. In this position, you will be accountable for analyzing user needs and designing processes and systems. This position is also accountable for ensuring all projects follow the project framework.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning project tasks and estimating project resource requirements, budgets and completion dates.
  • Effective communication with all members of the general user community and IT Department.
  • Assist in, and may be responsible for, all aspects of Project Management Framework activity.
  • Conducts Technical Evaluations and Systems Analysis activities in order to define user needs, system and technical requirements and alternative solutions to business problems/opportunities.
  • Prepare all project management framework deliverables.
  • Provide assistance and advice to development team in support of program development effort.
  • Plan and conduct all phases of assembly testing, user acceptance testing and walkthroughs.
  • Plan and conduct conversion and may assist senior staff in user and operations turnover and acceptance testing.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree from a college or university or two-year certificate/masters degree from a technical institute in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or business administration.
  • Excellent communication, application design and business systems analysis skills.
  • Strong technical understanding in a multi platform/ERP packages environment.
  • Previous experience in the following applications of Peoplesoft, SAP, Java, Weblogic, Websphere, C/C++,VB,ASP and exposure to databases like Oracle, DB2, SQL Server is needed.

Title: Database Administrator

Description:We are currently seeking personnel with DBA(Database Administration),managing Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server Environments, Client/Server and/or web development expertise, Windows and UNIX operating systems, Microsoft Office tools

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the database environments for our clients.
  • The DBA creates and actively maintains procedures for all administration activities performed in the environment and ensures that all production implementations follow the Information Technology Change Management Policy and Data Services Policies and Guidelines.
  • The DBA also is responsible for cross-training other Data Services personnel in the proper execution of such procedures and works with the Data Services Manager to discover potential areas of improvement and automation in routine tasks.
  • Conducts Technical Evaluations and Systems Analysis activities in order to define user needs, system and technical requirements and alternative solutions to business problems/opportunities.
  • The DBA is also responsible for the security and stability of the database environment and, as such, makes recommendations regarding implementing upgrades, service packs, security fixes, and related items, and works in conjunction with the Data Services Manager to report and recommend these issues at the Information Security Roundtable Meetings.
  • The DBA works directly with the Data Services Manager at the start of each year in setting a mutually agreed work plan regarding tasks required by policy, including security reports, capacity plan outlooks, and backup schedule reviews. Such plans may be revised during the year based on unscheduled audits both internal and external.
  • The DBA is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and vendor relationship of all database administration tools.
  • The DBA recommends purchases, upgrades, and replacement of such tools and works with the Data Services Manager to ensure that tool usage aligns with the needs of the department.
  • The DBA participates in data modeling exercises and works with both Data Services and Application Development to design and implement efficient data models that adhere to both best practices and business functional requirements.
  • The DBA provides day-to-day database support for the Bank, including but not limited to database restores, performance analysis, testing support, troubleshooting of database issues, and data access.
